For the AFC, I believe the Buffalo Bills will make an even stronger playoff run. The Bills have great coaching, a young strong defense, and a very strong run game, both of which are essential to playoff success. Josh Allen has shown significant growth, in his position, since his rookie season. He displayed confidence and fearlessness during the end of his wild card Texans game. His play could easily be viewed as reckless, but I viewed it as a relentless will to win. Allen’s late game mentality is promising, because all he lacked was late game decision making, which will get better with experience. I feel that the Bills’ wild card exit gave them the experience and drive needed to better contend in later seasons. I believe they have the ability to reach the AFC championship game.

For the NFC, I have a very bold selection. I believe the Chicago Bears will have a stunning bounce back season. Mitch Trubisky went through some serious struggles this season. I believe Trubisky will work hard this off season and return with a vengeance. He has a massive chip on his shoulder due to the looming cloud of regret Chicago has for passing on both Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson in the 2017 draft. Trubisky and the team has proven they can be title contenders given their 2018 campaign. Had their kicker not missed crucial field goal attempts in the Eagles playoff game, I feel the entire playoff picture would have turned out differently.

These predictions are early and may change barring any major injury, trades, or other major unforeseen changes.
